Brett started his career in the industry in 1987 at what is now HOM Furniture and later Ashley, where he'd played a key role in the companies' growth for over 30 years. From design innovation and product development to marketing and sales, there wasn't a part of the business that Brett didn't inspire. While nothing good lasts forever, it was during his later years here that inspired an idea, or moreso a passion for Brett. How do we make the furniture buying experience better?

Founded in 2015, Really Cool Living was born on the idea that we can make the furniture buying experience better, we can be different than everyone else. We can bring in a high quality product that the other guys sell for 4X, and we can make an experience fun, educational, and memorable. We can provide 5 star service in delivery, communication, and always treating our customers like family. 

Meet Marlena, our HR, Billing, and Social Media Director. She juggles her professional responsibilities with the demands of being a mom to three amazing kids. When she’s not busy at work, you’ll find her creating cherished memories with her loved ones.

Paul joined RCL in 2023 as our Head Photographer. With 20+ years of experience, his incredible camera work brought our products to life. All product imagery to this day is still done by him! A little over a year later, we invited him onto the sales floor where he quickly excelled, leveraging his creative eye to help customers envision their dream spaces. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his cats and indulging in his love for good food – especially the junk food.

A dedicated member of the RCL team since 2023, Austin consistently strives to improve our warehouse operations. He's a dedicated father of two and enjoys an active lifestyle, including workouts and outdoor activities. When he's not busy, you can find him playing video games or enjoying a delicious Italian meal.
